Straight answer: the plans people ask about here have no student price. There is no student tier of Claude Pro and no student tier of ChatGPT Plus, and the price does not move because you have a university email. Where an institution has a negotiated arrangement, that is a contract between the school and the vendor, not a discount a reseller can pass on, and we cannot see or verify institutional terms from here.
Why the student-discount pages exist
Lots of software does offer student pricing, so the habit transfers. It runs into two problems here. First, a verification service used for a discount is a relationship between you and the vendor; a third party claiming to apply a student price to your account is describing something we cannot confirm exists. Second, a price you cannot find on the vendor's own page is not a price, it is a negotiation with a stranger.
What actually reduces the cost
- Use the free tier for the work that does not need more. Reading, summarising, ordinary questions. The paid plans earn their price on volume and on the strongest model, not on light use.
- Do not buy the big plan because a forum told you to. Most people who think they need Max 20x need Max 5x, and many need Pro. The distinction that matters is whether the limit interrupts normal work most days or only on unusual ones.
- Shape the sessions. Scoped threads, fewer files in context, the lighter model for routine steps. Long sessions that rebuild context every restart are where allowance quietly disappears.
- Compare against pay-per-token use. For occasional, bursty work, an API key billed per token can be cheaper than any flat plan, and the crossover is a real calculation rather than a preference.
- Buy one month at a time. Everything here is a single month, so a term without exams or without a project costs what it costs, and you can stop.

Claude Pro is 105 CNY, about 14 euro. Claude Max 5x is 523 CNY, roughly 70 euro, and Max 20x is 1047 CNY, roughly 140. ChatGPT Plus is 95 CNY, about 13 euro, with Pro 100 at 375, Pro 200 at 850 and Pro 500 at 2500. Each product page lists the official CNY equivalent beside these figures so the comparison is visible. All of them are one month, payment is crypto only, and the plan is applied to your own account using the Organization ID or the session token. Never a password.
What we will not do
